Elder Deborah Price-Fonville, M.Div.

Elder Deborah Price-Fonville, M.Div., is a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ in Williamston, North Carolina, where she serves as the Associate Minister. Public service is at the core of Elder Fonville’s career journey. She worked as a public servant for the State of North Carolina as a Foster Care Social Worker with Martin County Department of Social Services. She has since transitioned to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety Division of Adult Corrections and Juvenile Justice where she serves as Juvenile Court Counselor Supervisor. 

Elder Deborah Price-Fonville retired on July 1, 2021, from Juvenile Justice. Her primary focus now is expanding and growing Front Porch Ministry, Inc.

As a minister of the Gospel, Elder Fonville’s greatest desire is to serve the Lord to the best of her ability, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  Her called purpose is to make a difference in the lives of the people she touches every day. To honor her calling, Elder Fonville established Front Porch Ministry, Inc.  Front Porch Ministry, Inc. is meant to provide a safe and holistic approach to those seeking and growing a relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Front Porch represents a haven for recovery and healing, just as those who came to the Sheep Gate at the pool of Bethesda, and its five porches.  They waited for the moving of the water in order to receive their healing (John 5:2-3). Jesus Christ is the fountain of living water, who is ready to move in the lives of all who are willing to call upon His Holy Name.
